On the E313 (Antwerp - Liège), you take the exit 27 (Hasselt-West). Follow the N2 and head for Herk -De-Stad.
Just after Decathlon you turn right. From there, you follow the road signs till the parking of the Abbey Site.
Take the train to Hasselt Station. On the station square, you take the bus 51 Heusden till the stop 'Herkenrode Bridge'. Check www.delijn.be for the schedule.
The Abbey Site of Herkenrode is located between nodes 94 and 237 of the Limburg cycling route network.
There is a visitors parking nearby the abbey. The parking is free.
